I hate Mog. I've been stuck on this trial for at least 3 months. Can never find a DF party for it either. I think I need to do it as DPS though. That Mog-go-round BS sucks to leach.

The attacks should mostly be pretty simple to avoid. the usual tank and spank. Tank faces Ifrit away from the party. DPS attack from behind. You as a healer, heal form wherever you feel comfortable. When he casts Eruption, try to avoid running towards one another. It would be best to stack pretty close to one another and either run away from one another or side by side to avoid hitting each other with it. The only thing to worry about is the plumes (that either start from the outside then inside or the other way), which everyone should active be trying to avoid. Try to stand on the border of the plumes while still being within healing distance of the party to avoid moving around too much so that you can focus on healing.

I'm assuming that you are a Conjurer, correct? Healing with that class pre-50 is quite an interesting challenge, because alot of your best skills don't come until later (Regen is 35, Medica 2 is 50, your ONE ability to regenerate MP doesn't come until 38, etc.)  It probably does feel alot like you're just spamming cure, because you don't have your whole tool belt yet.  As for dodging, that comes with time, you'll get used to the pace of different battles and get a feel for when to move. You'll also learn that there are times where even if you take a big hit, you'll know that you're not in danger of taking any more immediate damage, and can heal the tank first, before topping yourself off.Keep it up and you'll develop your healer spidey-sense in no time. = )

Okay, since I'm being shoehorned into doing dungeons (in the case of Ifrit's case in a literal sense), I'm going to need some help.It took me five times to get this Primal defeated on normal mode; and I understand that it was the group problem and not just mine but I get the nagging feeling that I'm going to have to improve.First off, when the AoE in the first half of the battle, should I have stayed in place instead of moving at all?  It felt like even when I moved from the radius I would get hit with the blast and it kept me from healing the tank.Second, should I as the healer just spam heal 100% of the time or is there a point in time during the first part of this game that I'm going to have to change that tactic?Third, since I'm terrible at macros, what would be a good alternative such as keybinding for targetting and just heals (assuming that's what I will be doing all the time)?Thank you in advance for any help.
