The event choices are

Triple Triad Tournament - For this event we will have all participants meet in the gold saucer where we will hold our own triple triad tournament. Line up will be selected randomly. The top 3 players will receive awesome prizes including a chance to beat Jellalafell for a million gil!

Minion Trivia - Everyone buys a minion and comes up with a question. We then meet at the house and take turns asking our questions to the group. Whoever answers your question correctly first wins your minion. Answer other players questions to win their minion!

Chocobo Racing  - We will meet in the chocobo square in the golden saucer. Participants will form a party and race against the other contestants. There will be 3 races and your total place score will determine the winner. EX Race 1 you come in 3rd place. Race 2 you come in 3rd place and Race 3 you come in 1st place you would have a total score of 7. (3 +3+1.) The top 3 players with the lowest race score will have their choice at some awesome prizes!

Hey everyone! This is a description for FC Fairy Tail Event for a chance to win Collectors Edition Heavensward.

Rules to participate: A one dollar donation must be made to the ffxivfairytail.com website in order to participate. Take a screen shot of your receipt and post it in this topic along your in-game name for it to count.

Event Information:
Game Date - June 14th Sunday 5m EST.
Game Type - Hide and Seek
Rules - There will be 3 people hidden (one in each major city, Gridania/Limsa Lominsa/and Uldah)
All players will start in one of the major cities and be tasked with finding the first hidden target. Upon finding the hidden target the player will receive an item that is required to trade to the second hidden target. From there the player will go to the second city and trade the item to the second hidden target and receive an item to bring to the third hidden target. Upon reaching the third hidden target and trading the specified item the event will be complete.

The first player to find the third hidden target and trade the specified item will win a collectors edition copy of Heavensward. Delivered by mail.

The choices for this weeks event are:

Hide and Seek - Jellalafell will hide in a random location in a random zone. All seekers will start at the same time at the same location. The first 3 people to find Jellal will be awarded with a prize. Prizes may vary from HQ high end gear and housing items or just a boat load of gil.

In Game Costume Contest - Deck your character out in the snazziest clothes find the best looking haircut and strutt your stuff. There will be 5 judges who will score your get-up 1-9. Whoever has the top 3 highest numbers will win and 1st place will get their picture taken and blown up on the FC home page

thannatos you always bail on us mid fight

Yeah two tanks is definitely easier for healers but we had so many DPS dying. That was our issue so i figured i would try to dps cause i knew id be able to stay alive for a little while. We were so close :/

i do wanna get the clear but i dont know if that team is the best because both naala and cecilia were new to the fight and its hard to do it with 2 dps especially because thannatos and cely also died a lot. people got better but its gonna take people being able to predict what move is coming up.

I was trying to call it out for naala but its one thing to think it and another thing to verbalize it. I think if people practiced enough and could predict the landslides and the WL then we would be good.

Realisticly this should be a very easy fight to heal. Titan does very little raid wide damage. (Assuming people can avoid the easily predictable aoe.) So in the case that DPS can avoid the damage a single tank method is better because heals can keep up.

But if heals have to raise every 30 seconds and fill up dps instead of healing the tank its tough. The fight is all about the DPS

lol @ Mog. I have been trying to clear it for over a week now. with multiple attempts through duty finder and even trying with all FC members...still no luck. and i would need a good break from it before running it again. you have to understand that just because you run with FC members that doesnt mean its going to be a 1 shot.

We have spent hours upon hours trying to carry people through T5 before. its really hard to do and very time consuming and frustrating for people who dont need it. ive only cleared it once myself.

We have all had to do our share of duty finder grinding, im still trying to duty finder mog ex when people arent available so that i can get to Shiva where people will have a purpose to run it multiple times and we will be able to help people with it.

I guess my point is everyone has to do duty finder or party finder. I dont always run with FC people but youre right that i do have close friends in the FC like Kilyne who are willing to spend the time to try and get the clear for me. Believe me their support is entirely volunteered and very much appreciated even though we havent cleared it.

They help more because of the long relationships weve had in the FC rather than the simple fact that i need it and am asking. So in regards to you wanting to raid with us and stuff its much more related to how much you talk to us and basicaly how cool we are with each other. That sounds like favoritism but everyone has an equal opportunity to make friends in the Free Company.

I work hard to make multiple portals available for people to get to know each other. We have FC events like minion trivia and hide and seek. We have a website and forums for peolpe to talk to each other ( which im glad you are using! tis expensive) we have mumble. We have a clash of clans clan. we have a kik messenger group for people to join. Theres so many ways to be in touch with us to let us get to know you an when it comes to clearing content friends would be the best way to get that done.

I wouldnt even be as far as i am withought JR and Allison and Jellal carrying me through Titan Extreme and Ifrit.

So in conclusion, because im ranting at this point, i think that its best if you take part in our conversations and stuff and let us get to know you better while you keep doing what youre doing and letting us get to know you.

I work the next 3 days so i wont be on untill like 830-9 EST and i wont be for long. but next time i am online because youve made the effort to explain yourself i will try to help you get a clear with whatever youre looking at.
